A duo of whistlers unique in the world
Originally from the Bay of the Somme in France, Jean Boucault and Johnny Rasse are first and foremost two nature lovers, passionate about birds and their poetry. Neighbors and friends since their childhood, they quickly discovered their gift for imitating bird calls. They developed their gift for local imitation contests until they finally triumphed in the world meetings.
It is the stage that will soon call them for sensitive and inimitable poetic artistic performances that make them travel all over the world in duet, indoors or outdoors accompanied by musicians or on customized collaborative projects with local symphony orchestras to always pay this unique and militant tribute to birds and the beauty of their song.
Their talent makes them collaborate with a lot of media and events, like the Victoires de la Musique Classique, or the Molières ceremony. Their latest album La Symphonie des Oiseaux was released in 2017. A book and a movie about their life are also in preparation.
The P.I.A.F. accompanies this lovely tandem of “whistling fools” on an international level for the implementation of customized collaborative concert projects with local ensembles.
