2023-2025: “Sal de Maras”: Rumbo a la 1ra Indicación Geográfica Protegida del Perú, support for artisanal producers and the Maras salt industry on the road to obtaining Peru’s 1st PGI – project supported by the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (I.P.I.).
HOLENA*, Bridges of Salt is an original project of international solidarity and cooperation that aims to support and promote organizations of artisanal salt producers around the world.
It proposes to act through consultancy and expertise for the establishment of effective denominations of controlled origin or protected geographical indications.
The objective is to structure and enhance the value of the sector in search of a positive impact on the territory and the value chain.
*HOLENA means “to harvest salt” in the Breton language
